Upload audio or paste a URL

You do not have to record live. RECORD also accepts a file or a video link.

Upload Audio

Supported types include MP3, M4A, WAV, WebM, OGG, FLAC, AAC. Long files are welcome (hundreds of MB are possible; the monthly hour cap still applies).

Tap Upload Audio, pick the file, and wait for upload and processing. If a large upload fails halfway, tap retry — the app continues from where it left off when it can.

Paste Video URL

Paste a YouTube, Facebook, or Rumble link. When the source allows it, we pull a transcript and build the same kind of notes as a live recording. Progress moves through transcribing, then generating notes.

Not every video has a transcript. Private, age-gated, or region-blocked URLs fail. If the source has no captions and we cannot extract audio, you will see a failure — upload an audio file instead.

What not to do

  • Do not email us a large audio file and expect processing — use Upload Audio in the app.
  • Keep speech clear. A tiny, over-compressed voice memo is harder to transcribe than a normal spoken-word recording.

When it finishes: Sermon notes.
