iOS and Android apps
The iPhone and Android apps are Unfiltered Grace on your phone. You get the same journal, Real Talk, and sermon tools as the website - same account on web, iOS, and Android.
Sign-in on a phone
Use Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple inside the app. If you finish Google only in Chrome or Safari, the app can stay logged out. Force-quit Unfiltered Grace and sign in again from the app.
Recording on iPhone
For sermons that must keep going when the screen locks, use the installed Unfiltered Grace app. Safari or a home-screen bookmark of the website will often drop the microphone when the phone sleeps.
While you record in the app, Unfiltered Grace shows its own lock-screen panel (and Dynamic Island on supported iPhones) branded with the Unfiltered Grace mark - not a generic voice-memo icon - plus “Recording sermon.” The lock screen (and the expanded island) show elapsed time; the small Dynamic Island pill stays compact with the brand mark and a mic. Tap the panel to return to the recording screen.
Recording on Android
On Android, the installed app can keep church sermon recording going when the screen locks, using a foreground recording service and an ongoing notification (not a Dynamic Island). Stay in the Unfiltered Grace app rather than a browser bookmark when you need lock-screen capture. If recording was interrupted, the app may offer recovery of a saved local copy.
Billing in the phone apps
On iPhone, paid plans are purchased in the app on Usage & billing using Apple In-App Purchase with your Apple ID. Use Restore purchases if you reinstall or sign in on a new device.
On Android, paid plans are purchased in the Play-distributed app on Usage & billing using Google Play Billing. Use Restore purchases after reinstall or on a new device. Stripe Checkout stays on the website in a regular browser.
If you already pay on the website, the phone app will not offer a second overlapping purchase. See Billing and plans.

Store availability
- iPhone: Live on the App Store. Install from the App Store to use the same account and in-app billing as on other platforms.
If you already have the Unfiltered Grace iPhone app installed, you can record sermons with lock-screen capture and manage subscriptions in the app.
- Android: Live on Google Play. Install from Google Play to use the same account and in-app billing as on other platforms.
“Can’t reach Unfiltered Grace”
If the app says it cannot reach Unfiltered Grace, check that the phone is online, then close the app fully and open it again. If it keeps happening, see Troubleshooting.
