Terms of Service

1. The Service

Unfiltered Grace is a prayer journal and sermon capture application. Features may include writing and saving prayers and journal entries; AI-generated "Real Talk" devotionals; recording, uploading, or importing sermon audio; transcription and AI-assisted sermon notes; text-to-speech playback; share links; PDF export; and related tools. Features may change over time, and some require a paid plan or may be limited by usage quotas.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and login credentials.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

3. Subscriptions, Plans, and Usage

We may offer free and paid plans (for example, Grace, Faithful, and Unfiltered) with different limits on sermon processing, Real Talk generations, premium voices, and other features. Plan details, prices, and limits are described in the Service (including Usage & billing) and may be updated from time to time.

• Quotas. Usage allowances (such as monthly sermon processing hours) reset on a calendar-month basis as described in the app, generally on the 1st of each month in UTC, unless we state otherwise.
• Billing. Paid plans, when available through a payment processor (e.g. Stripe), are billed according to the plan you select (monthly or prepaid annual where offered). Taxes may apply.
• Overages. If you exceed a plan limit, we may block or throttle the related feature until the next reset or until you upgrade.
• Refunds. Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, fees are non-refundable.
• Comp / admin grants. We may grant free plan upgrades at our discretion; such grants may be revoked or changed.

4. Your Content

"Your Content" means prayers, notes, transcripts, audio, titles, and other material you submit to the Service.

• You retain ownership of Your Content.
• You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service (including transcription, AI responses, storage, sharing you enable, and PDF/export features).
• You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
• Public share links make the shared entry accessible to anyone with the link until it expires or is revoked. You are responsible for what you choose to share.

5. AI and Automated Features

The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence and speech services (including, as applicable, xAI/Grok and transcription providers) to generate devotionals, notes, transcripts, and speech audio.

• AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. It is not a substitute for Scripture study, pastoral care, counseling, medical, legal, or other professional advice.
• You should exercise discernment and verify important matters independently.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of AI features or any particular model or voice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, harassing, or abusive purposes
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service, or circumvent usage limits or security
• Upload malware or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with us
• Use the Service to build a competing product using our proprietary materials or abuse of APIs

7. Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, branding (such as Unfiltered Grace names and logos), and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited rights needed to use the Service, no license is granted. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our branding or software without permission.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you also acknowledge that policy.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third parties (for example authentication and hosting providers, AI and speech APIs, and optional video transcript providers). Their terms and availability are outside our full control. Links or integrations do not mean we endorse third-party sites.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT CONTENT (INCLUDING AI OUTPUT) WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by notice in the app or by email. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence apply. Courts in Texas will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.

16. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on this subject. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
