Is my prayer journal private?

Yes. Every prayer, devotional, sermon transcript, and audio file is stored under your individual account and protected by row-level security policies — anonymous keys have no read or write access to user content. We do not publish a public feed, we do not show your entries to other users, and we do not use your private journal content to train foundation models. Third-party AI and transcript providers process your content only as needed to return the result you requested, subject to their own terms and retention policies. You control optional outbound sharing: any share link is a long opaque token with a 90-day expiry by default, and you can revoke it at any time from the entry. PDF and print exports stay local unless you choose to share them.

How do Real Talk devotionals work?

Real Talk is the in-app devotional generator — in plain language, a Scripture-grounded response from your prayer. You open WRITE, pour out a prayer (typed or speak your prayer by voice), and tap to receive a response. The backend streams that Scripture-grounded reply generated by a configured AI model, with related Bible verses pulled from the public domain. The verses are returned alongside the prose so you can save them to your journal entry in one tap. Real Talk runs server-side; we do not send your prayer to third parties for advertising or model training. Premium text-to-speech starts on Daily (40 plays per month), not only on Faithful or Unfiltered. Faithful includes 200 premium plays per month and Unfiltered 400. The free Grace plan uses device voices. Quotas are per-plan and reset on the 1st of each month in UTC.

Can I record sermons on my phone?

Yes — open the Record tab for church sermon recording on your phone: capture live with the microphone, upload an existing sermon audio file (MP3, M4A, WAV, or FLAC; long sermons welcome), or paste a YouTube, Facebook, or Rumble sermon link for transcript retrieval (Rumble is a first-class option alongside YouTube and Facebook). Audio is uploaded via WebSocket from the mobile shell so a long phone recording does not stall on the second sequential large HTTP POST. After you stop, the backend runs sermon transcription, then the AI generates AI-assisted sermon notes (theme, key points, illustrations, discussion questions, personal application, full transcript). You can add your own notes during recording — they are preserved alongside the AI notes. The notes, transcript, and letter-size PDF export ship as one bundle, with optional share link and print view.

Is Unfiltered Grace free?

Yes. The Grace plan is free: 15 Real Talk devotionals and 2 hours of sermon processing per calendar month, with device text-to-speech (UTC reset on the 1st). Paid website plans are Daily ($5/month, with 30 Real Talk generations, 4 sermon hours, and 40 premium text-to-speech plays), Faithful ($8.99/month), and Unfiltered ($18.99/month), with yearly options. App Store prices may differ slightly. All plans include unlimited private journal entries, share links with expiry, print view, and PDF export. On the website, paid plans are purchased at checkout. On iPhone, paid plans are sold in the app through Apple. On Android, paid plans are sold in the Play-distributed app through Google Play Billing (Internal testing live; do not assume production Play). Website Stripe remains for browsers. Restore purchases is available on iPhone and Android. Full current limits and prices are listed on the public /pricing page.

Go to unfiltered-grace.com/login and choose either a Google sign-in or email + password. Google sign-in uses an industry-standard PKCE authorization flow; on the Android and iOS shells we use the same flow routed through a custom-scheme deep link so the same Google identity works on web and mobile. We use Google sign-in only to authenticate you — we do not post to Google services on your behalf, we do not read your Gmail, and we do not use Google sign-in for advertising or tracking. Email/password accounts are created in our authentication service and require an email confirmation link before first sign-in. After authentication you land back on the dashboard with your existing journal entries.
